The republican plan to just ignore them and hope they all die in dumsters doesn't appear to be solving anything!

I am weighing in as a Social Worker on this answer.
Unfortunately, our country's priorities are not going in the direction of helping the homeless. Instead we spend our money on making weapons. This has been the trend for decades now.
In a more enlightened society, there would be decent provisional housing available to help those who wanted to get on their feet. Of course a case worker would monitor these and make sure they were seeking work, etc.
It is a shame, but this problem still exists in what is supposed to be the most progressive country in the world.

The solution is to throw out all the illegals and to not take in any immigrant that is not wealthy and self supporting until every homeless person has a place to live. Why do we waste money on immigrants and let our citizens go without? It doesn't matter what kind of people they are or what they have done because the immigrants that come into this country are not exactly good either and they are bringing their gangs and crimes and diseases to our country.

This is a secret Republican plan that you have gained access to? How about the secret Democratic plan that will require each wage earning household to adopt a homeless or welfare person and pay all their freight?

We've had the homeless problem long before now. We even had homeless during the FDR days. It looks like the liberals want us to fix every problems so they hope if they win they can sit on their a$$es another 8 years, just like clinton did.

They are dunks or drug addicted. They want to live the way they do. Free to do as they wish.
Who are you to say they can not.
I have seen them I have work on the streets. So do not tell me I do not know of what I speak.
If they want to get off the street there are many places and people that will help now and today.But THEY are the ones that must do it.
