Hi everyone*! I was on birth control (TRINESSA 28 day tab) and i have been on it for quite a while. My periods are always regular or around the same time because of the pills. I started my period July 31 (on monday) which is 2 days earlier than i normally do (normally i start on wed.) well anyway i ended about 2 days ago (periods last about 5 days every month) and today i was supposed to start a new pack of pills but instead me and my fiance decided we would try for a baby. I was just wondering if it is to early for me to try since i havent been off my pills very long? And if it is even really possible to get pregnant this close to getting off my period??

hi there, i was on microgynon for about 3 years when i stopped to try for a baby. I got pregnant a month later after stopping, but everyone is different, it depends how fertile you are and your partner too.
most people ovulate around day 14 but i know mines about day 16 but with my 1st i got pregnant just after my period. so you can never be sure!!
Ive got a persona, which people use to avoid getting pregnant but im using it for the opposite and using it to see when im fertile so i can get pregnant with my 3rd. Im still taking the pill at the moment and ive been on it 2 and a half years since my 2nd son, so fingers crossed when i stop it wont take long again. You can use a website called femta and it was really good for plotting dates and you can record details and dates, i really like it because it also helps you choose between a boy and girl, but im sure either would make you really happy. good luck and remember if it doesnt happen straight away dont worry it will, its more likely to happen when your relaxed and least expecting it, stress and upset makes the process harder and longer, so relax and enjoy each other! ;-)

It's possible, but it all depends on when you ovulate. Everyone is different, because some people can get pregnant right away after getting off the pill and others can't for months and/or years. It all depends on how your body functions and how quickly it gets back to normal. You can start trying to get pregnant whenever you want right after getting off the pill.

My last day on the pill was June 3rd and my fiance and I have been trying since June 15th and I still haven't gotten pregnant yet. It might happen quickly or it might not, just don't get your hopes up, because after quitting the pill you get all signs of being pregnant, but you might not actually be pregnant. So relax and be patient, and your time will come.

Well, you can't get pregnant today, if that's what you're asking. You can try this soon off the pill, but on average, it can take a woman up to a year to become fertile again after being on the pill. After my first baby, my husband and I switched to condoms because I simply don't want to be infertile when I next decide I want to get pregnant again.

If I were you, I would wait at least a month or two to allow some time for your body to go back to normal.

I have 2 boys and both pregnancies were planned. I had been on birth control for quite a while both times. When I went off the pill, I was pregnant within a week both times. Now, everybody is different as far as when they get pregnant but both of my boys are perfectly healthy and I had no problems during pregnancy. So, go ahead and try! Here's wishing you all the best!

Most doctors recommend you wait three months before trying to get pregnant after getting off the pill, yet the reasoning is just so your ovulation will be more regular. usually you ovulate about 14 days after the first day of period so that is when you would conceive, but this is jsut usually there are poeple who have gotten pregnant both during and right after their period so anything is possible. Your best bet would be to call your doctor and let them know you are going to try and conceive, they will give you advice and some more information on how to be successful within a shorter time period. Good-luck to you and your fiance!

If you can be pregnant or if you have infertility problems I reccomend to follow this method http://pregnancy.toptips.org

Many factors can cause a couple trouble in conceiving a baby, I'll list a few of the most common ones in women:
Anorexia or other dietary dysfunctions
Lacking amounts of FSH and LH are produced, so ovaries aren't as functional as they could be, and so not many eggs are produced
Stress, causing periods to become irregular
Medications such as cancer treatments, antidepressants, hormone therapy, pain killers, and antipsychotic drugs can all cause temporary infertility.

With the method that I posted above you will be able to get pregnant!

I got pregnant within 3 weeks of coming of the pill, but then I got pregnant the very first time I slept with someone, lucky for me I held out till I was married, and I know it was the first time as I married a soldier and he was sent over seas the day after we were married. I had no problems and my son was fine.

They do say to wait until the pill is out of your system and it could depend on what is in the pill you were taking.

Speak to you doctor or nurse practitioner who will advise you the best way to go if it's not too late.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/fd75a

My mother got pregnant with me in her first cycle off the pill. This was in 1969, when the dosages were considerably higher than they are today. So yes, it's possible although many women will take longer. It can take time for your body to establish a regular cycle and the Pill can temporarily damage the vaults that produce cervical mucous (this damage usually reverses itself in a matter of months.) Go ahead and try, but don't be surprised if it doesn't happen right away.
