I don't think so. I know on a landline phone there is a way to do that, but I was told it was impossible on a mobile phone, regardless of the carrier. I was getting a lot of wrong number calls so I tried really hard to have them blocked so they wouldn't waste my minutes, but couldn't find a way. So I think the answer is no. If your friends are saying you can why dont they tell you how as well.

I've of course heard of the blocking number like *67 or *69, I forget which one it is. But I've also heard that you can't do it from mobile phones, only landlines but I can't guarentee that's true, I heard it a long time ago. Plus I don't know when to punch in the *67/*69 if it's when the person is calling you and you haven't picked up yet or if it's after the call.

You can either contact the police and make a formal complaint, or you could contact your service Provider. If it's someone that you know (ex-partner, bailiff, or similar) you may have trouble shifting them, and dependent on their reason for calling/texting you may have varying amounts of sympathy. You may just simply be told to change your number. If whoever has no legitimate reason to contact you, then they can not just be made to stop, they could be taken to court, and punished. Either way, this will stop it. Good luck!

I don't have a T-Mobile phone, I have Verizon, but I think the process is still the same.
I go to the my inbox of text messages, go to menu, then go to block sender.
Hope that helps

If your carrier says no you usually can't. It is totally based on the services your carrier offers. You could change your number and restrict it for publishing. Tell them there is a legal issue and see what they offer.

It depends what service you're using. I know of one service that you can do so, but unfortunately it isn't available in the US. MXIT allows you to only receive text from people you aprove to do so.
