At first it is difficult. Usually going to seminars can help. The first thing they teach is to rid yourself of profanity, racial overtures, feminist remarks. There is a need to try to divide the people you have conversations with into groups and adjusting your conversation wording accordingly. This is also good for families.

I have found that it is better to be honest instead of pleasing. When you attempt to please others, sometimes you compromise your own beliefs, thoughts or emotions. This isn't good for you or your mental health. When I say be honest, I don't mean go around being rude telling people what you think...if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing....but don't say nice things if you don't mean them....then they are just lies.

thats pretty simple. Some people like their rearend to be kissed, in which case all you used is flattery. but some otheres like to hear the truth in which case you can be sure that they'll accept the truth even if it hurts them.

I think "Thank You" "Please " & "Sorry" are the three words that can do wonders.
