Why do Democrats, such as John Kerry, speak out against the War in Iraq when they voted for it?

I don't get why they have changed their minds, why would they vote for something and criticize it later?

Is it a lie if you dont know different?

This is all politics and the democrats will use any tactic necessary to regain control. John Kerry flip flops on everything. Those politician all saw the same evidence for 15 years before we went into Iraq and believed it, and the 30 other countries that are in the coalition believed it too, and the UN believed it. They just made more money ignoring it. The Democrats that spout this BS are the liars and they are apparently good at it because they have suckered a lot of people.

Because they see that the support for the war has gone down. Before, when support for the war was higher, they voted for it because their name would be synonomous with fighting the war on terror, and defending America. But not that the War in Iraq is unpopular, they don't want to be known as the people that supported a war that the American people did not support.

So, you can see, the Democrats are flip-flopping according to the say of the American people

I heard kerry make the statement while running for office, if you don't believe there's WMD's in Iraq don't vote for me, well I did believe it and knowing what demorats are and what a liar kerry is, voted for W, 500 WMD's found to date and still some say none are there, believe the liberal lie even when the truths in your face.

It was a mistake to vote the way they did. The intelligence was clearly altered to make the case for war. Kerry has admitted his mistake and apologized publicly to the American people.

i think they feel they were misinformed. many americans feel the same way. remember we were inundated with 'clear proof' that there was 'no doubt' that iraq had wmd's. that there was a 'definite connection' between al qaeda and iraq. now we know that there was no proof. that we were lied to. if not purposely than certainly irresponsibly.
imagine this: a man's wife is killed. the man goes out to seek revenge. he kills the man whom he thinks murdered his wife. it turns out that man didn't murder his wife. is the husband innocent because he 'thought' that the man killed his wife? even though the man clearly did not.
bush committed a crime (the u.n. and nearly every other nation in the u.n. condemned the invasion). he invaded a country without provocation, without agression, without any proof that iraq might committ any acts of aggression. the entire reasons for war were fabricated. and when their case for war fell apart they suddenly switched gears to the 'establishing democracy' arguement. there's your flip-flopping for you.
