Soapy water makes them die...they can't breathe with the bubbles. I would spray with a good spray then use alcohol to clean up. They leave pheromones and will reinfest the mirror later if you don't get rid of the pheromones.

Here is a Inexpensive Proven Method, for just about anything.
A) Buy a cheap vinyl tarp, larger than, (In This Case, Your Moms Car), or perhaps you already have one.
B) Buy your choice of Insect Bee Killing *Spray or *Fogger's,
C) Tarp Mom's car, on a non-windy day, set-off the Product, you choose, and walk away.
That is it, and it works. Go to a store such as Walmart or Target, to buy the killing product. There's no reason to spend a
lot of money, on this stuff.
