Has anyone ever seen a ghost?

Has anyone out there actually seen a ghost? If so do you have a story to go with it? If you haven't seen one, don't waste my time by answering no. I have felt the presence of several in my ghost hunting trips I've taken for an independant newspaper with my journalist friend. Does anyone also have any ghosts captured on film?

I've captured orbs on film, and static. Nothing too interesting. One roll of film that I took at a cemetary had a black streak across each negative. I know there wasn't a developing error because I developed it myself in my darkroom. I also had a video camera that I left rolling and you could see smoke moving across the lens, and at the end of the film something knocked the camera over.

Yes, I saw several ghosts at differant times. My Uncle standing behind my Grandma after he died. My cat after he died. A graveyard ghost. A little girl who had been murdered and buried under my old house. The last one was the WORST, because of the murder. If you want to capture ghost on film, old graveyards are the best. Go at dusk, while there is still light enough to walk around. Don't go alone, but don't go with a crowd, they tend to make too much noise. Go quietly, and softly talk to the spirits among you, willing them to come out. I hope you see something! I know you'll at least get orbs of light! Ghosts like to be filmed!

I lived in Ohio in the early 1960s. We lived in a very old two-story home (really four stories if the attic and basement are counted). The original owner of the home was an attorney who left all his legal files in the soot-covered attic. They were in total disarray and the files themselves were also covered with soot. I was so intrigued by all the artifacts (some going back to the 1700s) that I spent all my spare time in the attic reading them: wills, death certificates, deed abstracts, etc. But while I was doing this I was feeling more and more uncomfortable. I had a feeling that the attorney was standing beside me, watching me, and not too happy about what I was doing. So I began to clean all the soot off the files, as I read them, and placed them back in alphabetical order. I then began to feel that he was not quite so unhappy about me prying through his papers. All of this could be due to just an overactive imagination.

But the following I did not imagine. A possible sighting of ghosts of the wispy or smoky kind were part of an incident I experienced while living in the house in Ohio. The stairway to the attic there was accessed from a door in an upstairs hallway. One day I opened the door and suddenly viewed two large wisps of smoke or mist, each one about the size of a human body. I was shocked and speechless. The wisps stood still for a split second then shot up very fast toward the attic, through the attic, and when reaching the roof of the house, went right through it.

I've never seen a ghost of a more solid nature (that I'm aware of). I suspect that we may see them many times without recognizing them as ghosts.

Yes I have. I got an EVP while in the vacant upper flat of my grandma's duplex. Unfortunately, I lost the tape when I moved out. I've captured orbs on film, but no ectoplasm or anything cool like that. I usually feel cold spots (or occasionally hear things) more often than I actually see ghosts.

one night i went upstairs to get a drink and on my way back downstaris i stopped at the top of the stairs and looked down and saw someone standing there looking up at me i was so scared i couldn't move, then i closed my eyes and when i opened them the person wasn't there, lets just say it was a good 2 weeks before i went down stairs again.


yes i have gotten them on film anyone can, when u take a picture take 2 or 3 of the same shot, if u see little white dots and think "it's just with the lighting" then look at the same pic of the same shot if their still there, there's ur ghost's e-mail me if u don't belive me and i'll send u the pics 2 prove it.

I believe my son saw a ghost when he was 3 yrs old. He kept telling me there was a man outside his bedroom window and when he went outside the man was always there watching. Then one day he was standing in the kitchen talking towards the window. I asked what was going on. He said the man was telling him that he was proud and happy. I asked about the man. Rob said the man would not hurt him, that he had told Rob that he only wanted to see him. I asked him to describe the man and he described my grandfather to-a-T. My grandfather (his great-grandfather) died 3 years before. Gramps had traveled 1300 miles to see his 1st grt-grandson shortly after Rob was born but died 200 miles away. Rob had never ever met, seen, seen pictures or anything. But he described Gramps in detail. After the "man" told Rob that he just "wanted to see him" he was never seen again.

No. No one has ever seen a 'ghost'. No one has ever captured one on film. No one has ever proved their existence or have one piece of solid evidence they exist. No fuzzy photographs or static filled recordings please. If 'they' were indeed real there would be sightings by skeptics as well as believers. You people may have experienced something, but why are you so relunctant to believe a logical explaination vs a GHOST?

No I have never seen a ghost.A ghost ussually can be seen by someone who is afrraid of ghost and his/her thinking is blank.He/she is often has illusion or imagination or dreaming for something unrealistic.You heard from radio or saw in Tv or you read in the newspaper,they were many women/girls,who were entered by ghosts.It is caused by generally women have a shallow spiritual mainstay or low morale and imbalance.

I think I have heard them more than ever seen them....but I have seen a couple and only little glimpses out of the corner of my eyes. I saw my ex husbands dad in a mirror. I saw his brother one night sitting on our bed. THAT was freaky. Ive seen some orbs rolling down my sister in laws steps and through her kitchen.We even got voices on a little taperecorder in that house. That house was cool!!

I've had ghost with me since i was little i even named one George they never hurt me they just knock things over or tell me my phone is ringing when I'm sleep,I've even had lit cigarette's floating when i needed one thee most it was like he was teasing me,my grandma passed away and a few years later my family almost died in a fire we had to jump out 3rd story window i was 4 months pregnant with my 4th child the whole house black and completely burnt but my grandmas picture on the wall had no damage(strange huh)and in the hospital i had a dream she showed me my baby and he came out fine and looked just like she showed me.she was my best friend its been 5 yrs. and i still don't except her death cuz it was 3 days sudden,and she is with me in the car allot i just get a weird feeling shes there .there was a time i was talking to her instead of god and she came to me and screamed LEAVE HER ALONE so i did for alittle while and once i did i started having bad luck a gain.my kids saw 2 ghosts in the basement i knew they did cuz of how scared they were,when my son was ababy he would see one and point at the area of the room and be terrified.but they seem to have no harm,i believe they are stuck here till they except there own death sometimes it takes a long time so they wander around lost or around family.sorry but i can go on and on.................................this all happened in ohio it started in my grandmas house and grew stronger as i moved even heard baby crying in my atic all the time and footsteps run across a room.ive been told by a pshycic that i have the ability to read people so ghosts are atracted to me.....
