Hello! I don't know which service you subscribe to, but I use Bell South Fast Access DSL and they have an option for wireless service that is only $5.00 a month. You'll need to purchase a wireless router from your local computer store (around $50 or so) or buy one through your service provider. Once you get it set up, you should be able to use your laptop and access the internet through the service that you have.

Yes you can disconnect your desktop computer and connect your laptop. But if you want to use both at the same time you will need an inexpensive router box. ($20 to $50)
