How do you get adhesive off patent leather that wants to be professionally cleaned only?

Got this jacket for a dolllar at goodwill it looks like some one had put a duct tape design on it then peeled it off.
Don't have time to get it cleaned before vacation when I want to wear it. Any ideas?

try goo gone. you can buy it at Walgreens or walmart stores. Try peanut butter or vaseline gently rub until the adhesive comes off. LOL

try using Vaseline Petroleum Jelly, and a soft cloth...may take a little bit of rubbing...but should do the trick
