If a person has success without first learning to fail, they are likely not to be able to handle adversity when it happens (and it always does). In that case, yes, it can be disastrous. I personally feel that you cannot appreciate success if you haven't experienced a failure or two.

In some cases, early or quick success can be disastrous. It can lead to expectations that everything they do will be successful. They overextend themselves and fail big time.

only if you're the type of person that most of us consider a loser.
if one has it together success is the hoped for payment and will be handled the same way one arrived there.

Yes. if i intend to use bombs to destroy something and succeed, that would be pretty disastrous for the people standing nearby when the bombs explode.

Yes. People can become power hungry and miss use their power. "With power comes responsibility." Some people just aren't responsible. Money and power both can corrupt. It distorts what we perceive as good. And besides, no one likes arrogant people.
