that's tough - I'd still go w/ Mcgahee even though his ypc will be terrible; he doesn't split carries, he's durable, and he always gets his chances at the end zone.

If Julius were more durable, I'd put him #1 - but M. Barber produced when Jones was out last year, and I worry about him stealing carries.

Kevin Jones could be a surprise sleeper - but he should go 3rd round whereas the other 2 will go in the 2nd.

You have three running backs who are either starting over in new offenses or coming back from injuries or both. If I had to pick the best out of these 3, I'd go with McGahee, then Julius Jones, then Kevin Jones, although I'd watch out for the potential of Kevin Jones.

Mike Martz is the new offensive coordinator in Detroit, and we all know what happened in St. Louis (something about the Greatest Show on Turf) and he may not have the same talent in Detroit as he did in St. Louis, but if he can revive that offense, look out. He made a guy by the name of Marshall Faulk into what he was, and he can do the same for Kevin Jones

3. Julius Jones
2. Kevin Jones
1. Willis McGahee

McGahee should see more carries and have better numbers than last season. The offense will lean on him to set up the passing game even more so this year.

Kevin Jones is a do it all type of back that catches passes, runs to the outside and through the middle. He will be very active and have very nice numbers.

Julius will benefit from a dangerous passing attack this year and have some pressure lifted off his shoulders. He'll produce nicely due to the fact that he can wont have to carry the ball 30 times a game and get worn down.

i'd say u have it correctly all ready. Julius Jones will be quite good as long as he doesn't keep getting injured. Mcgahee would have the ability to be a top 3 back but his team is just so unbelievably bad. Kevin jones is a huge letdown and wont get many carries on his pass-happy team.

i would have to guess:

1.) J. Jones then K. Jones then W. McGahee
2.) W. McGahee, K. Jones next J. Jones
3.) K. Jones, J. Jones, W. McGahee

or it could be a tie until midseason or something which might look like this

1. J. Jones, W. McGahee, K. Jones these 3 might be tied for the best recorde until midseason.

Kevin Jones. With a deadly passing game *Roy, Mike, Charles, Pollard, Bradford, Vines, etc.* and a QB who can get the job done, Mike Martz will blast teams through the air, launching it at all times. This will make teams play pass seeing how it makes no sense to play run against Mike, and remember what happened last time teams did this to a Mike Martz led team, Marshall Faulk became only the 2nd RB to get 1,000 rushing and 1,000 receiving, which I think Kevin might be close to, I am predicting 1300 rushing yards and 600 receiving yards this year to go with 10 total TD's. Mike and Charles are both having problems with management meaning Roy is really the only WR out there who the team likes and will start, meaning they'll have to run more and Kevin is the guy to do it.

Mcgahee - Jauron likes to run the ball and the QB situation is still unsettled, which makes running even more attractive.

J. Jones - Could have been first if he didn't have Marion Barber breathing down his neck. Will lose carries to Barber.

K. Jones - They're gonna be pass happy in Detroit this year

What you talking about Willis!! i think WM has the same stuff that Cory Dillon has, a tall strong runner that can recive too. Julious Jones will do good for the first few games and slow down half way thought the season. kevin jones is right where he needs to be in the countdown!!
