I agree. It gets worse once you get to highschool. I'm 16 and the drama never stops at my school. Everyone wants to hang out with the popular kids, and I could never understand why. They're not as cool as everyone thinks. I just be myself, and don't care what everyone else thinks.

Hi, me. It's refreshing to know there is a young teen out there who really doesn't define their being by the "popularity ruler". My son is 11 and, so far, doesn't really care much what other people say and think. He is his own man. I hope he continues on this path, because in the long haul of things, it doesn't matter at all! The ones considered nerdy or uncool in school are the ones who are millionaires today. Think about it. It's just really hard being in school and being an outcast. I was a popular girl, but it was because I didn't hang with one select crowd. I talked and joked with everybody. It paid off for me. Now I counsel all the popular crowds dysfunctional offspring! Good luck honey and thanks for the wisdom of youth.

No offence, yet i anticipate you're truly a kind of human beings *properly-known* youngsters want to call "losers". i'm previous that era in my existence now, operating and all. i changed into truly a kind of youngsters too, those that were given decrease out, I in no way cared to be thoroughly hardship-free. yet, like you, I surely have said that human beings were - and nonetheless are - particularly obsessed on acceptance. Even worse; they placed demands on human beings. I surely ought to say, outdoors of school i'm very properly-known contained in the *actual* international because i'm only being myself and do not attempt to be some different person. also, perchance because for some unexplained reason, i'm *continuously* ahead of trend tendencies, and perchance - only perhaps - because i'm tremendous to seek suggestion from... See, the demands they make in college are diverse from the demands they make in actual existence. some youngsters will study the version even as they end college, and some in no way will - and those are the pathetic ones... i have considered a number of those in my very last classification. incredibly humorous sight, incredibly :p

they obsess over it because they have money, guys, PILES of make-up on their faces, you will look better then them whenever you want, the popular kids are just people, they are just extremely skinny and truly ugly. don't obsess, be smart and stay you! I was considered very popular before i turned 13, then people decided goth and punk was in, i acted that way just to get my friends back! i realized that they weren't friends with me, they were friends with my looks, money, clothes, etc. don't give in, get real friends!

it's typical middle school/high school stuff.....don't let it get to you. Just be yourself, be happy and keep busy with your friends as well as your studies. By senior year you'll all be passed that nonsense and go on to college as a confident, poised, young woman.
