Are you asking for pure glycolic acid?
I'm not sure you can without a License but try here:
http://skinactives.com/index.htm
You can locate ingredients to make your own cosmetics from them.
Or referrals for a Glycolic-treatment range?
I like the Aqua-Glycolic range.
Effective, does it's job = it delivers and doesn't break the bank cost-wise. It's also the quiet secret of the modeling world. Merz, the manufacturers sent me this link.

The answer as far as the scars go is YES.
Glycolics will have a positive effect on your skin and improve any scarring or dis-colouration in time. The stronger the product the faster you'll see results BUT within limits. Too strong a number strength and the product will "hurt" you while applying it and leave the skin vulnerable once it's removed the older protective layers. You will peel and go scaly, possibly even red, like a bad sunburn if the formulae is too strong/used too frequently for your skin to cope with. Obviously this will not CALM your skin down.
When your skin gets to the tender stage you have to re-evaluate your goals/condition and pamper it with TLC until it is ready for another blast of treatment. (Do this myself every couple of years.)
If you're working on clearing up an existing acne condition, the Glycolic will certainly help but you'll harvest a crop of quick healing zits for a couple of months depending on just how congested your skin is and how many zits are below the surface. In fact it'll get so that they'll emerge in the morning, wash off and be healed by the following morning.
Doing these sort of peels you MUST include a SUNSCREEN in your regime!
Good Luck!

Full strength glycolic acid will literally burn your face off. You can purchase products containing glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid. One of the best products to try IMO is Reviva Labs Glycolic Acid Cream, available at many health food stores.

I recommend www.loganwoodskincare.com.
They do glycolic (and other peels) in varying strengths. I'd recommend beginning with the 35%.
Good luck : )
