We didn't have a front porch when I was growing up...we had a one out back that over looked the woods...I loved going out there listening to the birds...

Nope, in a way I have one. I live in an apartment and I have a porch. I hope one day to own a house, and I am making sure I have one. They are great to people watch.

Yes. I have spent many a happy time on a porch, and I think it helps communities feel like communities.

You better believe it! I remember sitting on my Great Grandparents porch in the old vintage swinging chairs, staring at the beauty of their yard, and the hummingbirds too.

i have one, but i dont use it. I am getting a screened in porch [being worked on now] so i will go there like every day.

I know most new houses dont have them in there design. Its weird because they are an important part of a house. Just apply to your city for an add on to your house. Then custom build one to your liking. If built right then maybe your neighbors will catch on and do the same.

I do.Especially when the fam comes ova for a visit.We used to have neighborhood bar b-ques.That was before the big family fight my aunt found out that my oyher aunt was sleeping with the first aun'ts husband,then oh see there I go............

I kind of have one. But I've seen houses where there's just a front door...it was kinda creepy.
