As far as I remembered, Bulgaria is a closer ally to the United States than Romania. But they both have come a long ways after the collapse of Communism in Eastern Europe. So, in essence, I appreciate both countries trying to achieve a better life for their people.

Wow, umm, neither is one I think about a lot, so I will go with Romania. The former leaders may have had more issues, but they turned out some of the best gymnasts in history.
