When you see something you like, tell the person. Could be something they did, something they are wearing or something they said. I found that I thought these things but didn't verbalize my thoughts. You'd be surprised how easy it is, after all, you are telling the truth. And it makes people feel good, yourself included.

"My gosh benjamin, have you no empathy? Your question was unbelievable! Don't you have any feelings to judge your reactions from what your good friends say about you?
Really and honestly, I learned these things when I was 8 years old and even more when I turned 20. There must be thousands of things you could say based on your own experience of what praise does to you. Just about every human being has heard someone praise them at one time or another.
Go to google.com if you still need help with this foolish question."
