How do I get rust out of a new carpet?

I would call the company where i purchased my carpet. There is this product called wink that cleans clothes that have rust stains and i think you can clean carpet rust stains don`t rub the wink in just dab it...

I would try a paste of Bravo and water. Brush it into the stain and let it dry, then thoroughly vac. Don't leave it on because it may lighten the rug.
