Vacuum doesn't sound like the problem.....It's likely an ignition problem, i.e. electrical. You are barking up the wrong tree.
Besides, it's a Ford Focus, you've been driving it for 6 years.....Maybe it's time to let it go!

This is so simple you won't believe it. The easiest way to find a vacuum leak is to raise the hood, start the engine, and start spraying an aerosol like carb cleaner, or ether around in small areas at a time. When you spray it on the vacuum leak, the engine rpms will automatically increase. You will definately hear it. Then you'll know where it is to fix it.
Happy hunting.

Just behind the throttle body near the firewall is the PCV hose that slides onto a small pipe coming off the intake manifold.
You cant see it, but you can feel it.
Don't use carb. cleaner as listed above , it will ruin plastic parts, and paint.

A vaccum leak would not cause a miss. Iikley it is a problem with the computer....... or it could be the rotor.Change the cap and rotor. If that does not work see a machanic.

its a focus.
fords are made so you have to take them to a dealer or mechanic..and then they charge you an arm and a leg to repair any problems since ford parts are the most expensive
sorry.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you will have to visit the dealer so they can rip you off. They can usually find the problem because their scopes are set up for their vehicles.

Underneath in intake manifold there is a vac. line that breaks. You might pass you hand and find it, but from the bottom it is easier
