Usually the higher the frequency the better, but my 5 GHZ phone has more fuzz than my 2.4GHZ phone but I would stick with the 49MHZ.

The numbers refer to the frequency of the radio waves that the remote uses to comunicate with the chopper.

They will all work good. They (27MHz, 35MHz, 40MHz, 49MHz, 72MHz, 75MHz etc...) are here because of your country's frequency restrictions. Manufacturers make frequencies to fit the law. e.g. some countries only allow 27MHz and 75MHz. R/C radio manufacturers also have different selections of frequencies set for us already, 2-3 channel radio system usually comes with either 27,40,72. 4 channels or over, mostly refered to planes and helis will come with 35,49,75. Of course you can use 35MHz on cars.

Tey are all pretty much the same.
The reason they varry the freq. is so that two or more transmitters won't interfere with the other radio controled stuff.
