It has a LOT to do with me when Gay people are trying to make things right for themselves and some people don't give a rat's *** about the politics of it rather just flying around and having fun all the time. I like to have fun too, but don't need to be fippant about it. So there.....you square!

I think most people realize them to be the attention starved pathetic two year olds that they are. That act has nothing to do with being gay.

I respectfully disagree with the other responses that say they were born that way. People aren't born bitchy.

Also, I respectfully disagree with the other responses that say these guys are comfortable in their own skins. Hardly true. Anyone who has to put on an act to get through an ordinary day isn't even a teensy bit comfortable in his own skin.

I totally agree with what you are saying. There is a time and place for everything. I work with and do a lot of lobbying for gay rights organizations. I meet with and talk to a lot of politicians and business organizations. I can't walk into a meeting and start "queening out" and expect to be taken seriously. This applies to life in general. If you want to be taken seriously, you must have an appropriate countenance. A lot of people don't have time for theatrics.

Like I said there is a time and place for everything.

Live and let live. They do provide good theatre sometimes. I am straight and I thought the Queen of the Desert movie, Queen the rock band and the waiters at one of my favourite restaurants are great.

I believe they have just really come to terms with who they are and are completly free with no inhabitions . Good for them. I have worked with several of them mostly costume or set designers and they were fun as hell to be around.

Everybody has the right to be who they are. If you are embarassed by their behaviour..that's too bad...maybe other people are equally embarassed by your behaviour...that's life.
Don't get me wrong..I do see and agree with your point..but why waste times on things that you can't do anything about.

Being embarrassed by someone else's behavior says a lot about your character. Anyone else's behavior has nothing, what-so-ever to do with you.

The only person who can embarrass you is yourself. You have no control over anyone else's behavior, so why be embarrassed?

Because they can and they think it is fun! I personally dislike it!

They don't embarrass me. Jonathan and I live our life -- they live their lives -- why would it bother me? No one I know confuses us and them.......

Are you a bit paranoid perhaps? It really isn't your affair.

Regards,

Reyn

Your question really doesn't make good sense to me.
