the risk of miscarriage goes down to around 2% at the 12th week, but there is a risk of miscarriage until week 20. After the 20th week it is considered fetal demise or still birth.

It is more likely in the first trimester- months 1-3- then at other times in pregnancy. Most miscarriages happen in that time. After the 20th week, it is called still birth. Before then, the fetus isn't viable- couldn't survive outside the womb, even with medical help.

Unfortunately, yes. I had a miscarriage at 4 months many years ago.
No one really knows why they occur, but I believe all things happen for a reason, and in our best interest, even if we never understand why.
If you are 2 mos pregnant and concerned, my advice would be to take the best care of yourself that you can, follow all of your doctor's advice, and try not to worry.
Blessings to you and your child.

yes. I was 12 weeks when I miscarried. That was almost the safe mark 13 weeks. The signs are bright red blood. Also there may be cramping. Either of those I would say to go to the dr and they will do a ultra sound. goodluck.

You can have a miscarriage anytime in your pregnancy. It just gets a different name like spontaneous birth or someting like that. My step mom lost a baby at 6 months out of the blue.
