which processor is better?

Im thinking about buying an AMD dual core processor, but im not sure if I should go for the 3800+ X2 or the 4200+ X2. I don't see much of a difference between the two except that the 4200+ is 200mhz faster. I also heard that the 3800+ overclocks better.

There isn't much of a performance difference between the X2 3800+ and the 4200+. Get the 3800+ which is cheaper. and the overclocking only works if you have a motherboard and memory that are capable of OC

It really depends what you're going to use them for. I just bought a 4000+ single core with 1MB cache and it screams.
