Probably not much. Most of the rest of the world (Middle East excepted) are not so bothered by symbolism as the US is. Of course they wouldn't be real happy about it, but I can't see the Swiss government up all night debating what new laws need to be established to stop angry Hungarians from burning the Swiss flag!

The whole "flag-burning" thing in the US is designed to distract (however briefly) attention from other more critical things that are going on, just like the fuss over "gay marriage", and wanting to put "prayer back in schools", and, to a large extent, the debate over immigration.

OMG, can you imagine? the people of that particular country would start an uprising, lawsuits would fly.....beatings....killings.......it would be horrible. Worse yet? the courts would probably rule against the people that burned the flag, even though they say it is alright to burn the American flag.....

well let's say they burned the iranian flag.. Iran would call for war. yet they can burn an american flag with no harm at all.

i think it depends what nation.. a modernized nation in europe, or a third world middle ages nation in the middle east. i think ppl may be surprised, but not too surprised. it's happened before.

Nothing. People here do not care too much about things like that. Plus, the only flag we should be burning is our own and that of Israel.

We are more responsible and we are free! Other countries would start a war if we acted as irresponsible as they did.
