They were Musical Youth.... A bright bunch of lads from Birmingham... They formed in 1979 at Duddeston Manor School, Birmingham, England. The band had two sets of brothers, Kelvin and Michael Grant, plus Junior and Patrick Waite.
The single "Pass the Dutchie" sold more than four million copies in 1982, but they failed to follow it up with further hits.

"Pass the Dutchie" was sang by Musical Youth honey. Acutally, as of 2005, they're been left with two people, Michael Grant and Dennis Seaton I think. Patrick Waite died.

The song is titled "Pass the Dutchie", sung by Musical Youth. The original group of four is now down to two (one of them not an original member, although he did sing on "Pass the Dutchie"), and as of last year was touring on the nostalgia circuit.
