The heat and the sweat tend to clog up pores and make it less likely for you to have clear skin. The best treatment for this believe it or not isn't dry skin. It is well balanced nourished skin. Your diet also plays a huge part in this. Anytime you overeat crappy foods, ie cakes, candies, greasy foods, processed foods, fast food...it takes a toll on your body. Stick with whole foods and lean meats. Also how old are you? Hormones can play a huge part in oil production that causes acne.
Exercise can really help to release the toxins in your body through sweat. Sometimes if you sweat and the toxins stay on your skin for a long time, you can develope acne from that. The best solution for healthy skin is to ....
1. Eat a healthy diet to eliminate toxins and excess oils. Also drink as much water as possible and limit sodas or eliminate them altogether.
2. Exercise daily until you sweat to release toxins and help clear your pores. Shower immediatly after exercise to wash off any oil buildup on your skin.
3. Get some sun. Get outside without sunscreen for 15-30 minutes everyday. Sunscreen can also block pores. The sun has a way of helping out many skin problems. Do not burn!
4. Get yourself a skin care line and stick to it. Proactive is a really great skin care line. Make sure you use it properly and use it daily.
5. Try a microdermabrasion. That seems to help me. I use the one by Neutrageana.
6. If none of these work, see your Dr. and ask about going on the pill. I know a lot of girls who had trouble skin and within weeks of starting the pill, their skin cleared right up.

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.
In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.
Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.
In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.
If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

YES. Exercising makes your skin clearer and healthier all over. You need to cleanse afterwards though b/c sweat can actually make you break out more (which is probably what you're experiencing from the heat). But sun can also cause you to break out. Try to keep your face in the shade and use a good, non-oily SPF for sensitive skin, and cleanse whenever you've been sweating. Drink lots of water too!! That helps a lot. For a topical solution, I've come up with a cheaper version of Proactiv which has helped me a lot. You'd need to buy:
1. a gentle cleanser (like Cetaphil or Spectro jel)
2. a good toner/astringent (like Clean & Clear)
3. a 2.5%-5% benzoyl peroxide cream (Spectro vanishing cream or Clean & Clear persa-gel 5) C&C 10 is available but that can seriously irritate your skin. Try to get something for "sensitive skin" to reduce the risk of allergies or irritation.
4. a gentle facial moisturizer (like Moisturel - it's important that the moisturizer you use isn't oily or heavy, it has to be for sensitive skin and quick absorbing and light)
When you've gone through the first 2 steps of cleansing your face and applying the toner, make sure your fingertips are clean and put a drop (size of a small pea) of the benzoyl cream and a drop of the moisturizer on your fingertip and mix together. Apply to your entire face and gently massage in. Do this everyday (once or twice) and you should see results in 2 weeks if not sooner. You may find that you get a few more minor pimples when you first start using it, but that's just the dormant ones coming to the surface. If you find your face gets too dry, try using bit more lotion than the benzoyl cream, OR apply more moisturizer afterwards. And if you have 1 or 2 really bad/big pimples put a separate dab of the benzoyl cream directly on them. Good luck!

Summer heat and lack of washing properly is a cause in acne breakouts. We do more things in the summer such as plants gardens, walk in the woods, go to the beach all this adds extra dirt to our skin and if we don't wash our face and hands more often the pores clog!
Have a nice day!

both play a role in acne breakout. in the heat, your person perspires opening up your pores, and you can develop oily skin and hair. combined with the dust and dirt on your face and skin, your pores trap it all and you breakout. to prevent this from happening you can wash twice a day to remove the oils and dirt from your face and body. also exercising will allow you to break sweat and hence empty your pores. but you have to wash up afterwards to clean yourself of the sweat dirt and oils from the workout so it doesn't get trapped in your pores. the key is to keep clean. i've not used moisturizer in the summer because my face naturally emits oils and it keeps my face supple. i find when i moisturize, combined with my natural oils i have to wash more frequently to prevent dirty pores. if you have drier skin, you may need to moisturize after every wash so that you don't dry out your skin from all the washing.

excess heat can cause you to sweat which can clog your pores also sunscreen can sometimes cause break-outs. Use a very mild soap (ask the pharmacist) and wash 2 - 3 times a day if you are sweating

I'm honestly not sure about the exercise portion of it, but it can definitely be the heat. I think any change in your lifestyle, like maybe stopping exercise, could do it though.

heat does cause acne, specially if you have oily skin. plus if you use sunblock you have to be careful that it does not close or block pores (it would have that written)
Drink plenty of water! it does wonders to your skin.
Use neutragina liquid soap for oily skin.
remove all make up before bed.

Yes, the heat, the sweat and what you eat all play a part in what you are experiencing. I think you should try some Oxy pads, they are great for killing the ones you have and then stopping new ones...
good luck to you!
