I found a purse laying in the street one day so I drove by and picked it up. I looked for ID inside (I live in a small town) and I saw a bank envelope with alot of twenties in it. I took it to the Sheriffs office and they wrote my name down. Two weeks later I got a letter from an old lady saying how thankful she was and that I made her proud to be an American. She also sent a $10 reward. It made me feel good for what I had done, because it would have been so easy to keep but I would have felt so guilty.

As a kid I was swimming underwater at the beach wearing goggles and I saw something sticking out of the sand that turned out to be a $20 bill. I guess you could say my excitement was short-lived because I accidentally left it out on the kitchen table when I got home and my dog ate it.

I would have to say that the largest amount was a two dollar coin. There was a polar bear on it and the Queen, and of course the usual Latin and the year of mint.

I found $15 in a puddle of slush (it was warm day in winter). The money was wet but once it dried off, it spent just fine.
