Do you mean artificial boulder-type of rocks? Lava rock makes me think of the light-weight reddish gravel type stone that is used in California in landscaping. If you mean the fake boulders of various sizes, Home Depot, Lowe's, or Costco (which I think has them in their online catalog at Costco.com.) I got a very realistic-looking hollow boulder to hide the electrical outlet out at my goldfish pond at Home Depot, and I really like it. I put some smaller real rocks around it so it looks natural, and it blends right in.
