My friend, as far as I know, you cannot get a "free" phone with prepaid service even from Virgin Mobile. On the contrary, you can get a "free" phone with a 2-yr. contract from the major wireless carriers. The website for Virgin Mobile is . You can get reasonably priced Virgin Mobile phones at Target and even Wal-Mart. I recommend Target because the folks at the electronics department are a tad bit more knowledgable than the folks at Wal-Mart (I am not knocking Wal-Mart because my best friend works there). On the website, you can get K10 Royale or Nokia Shorty FREE if you purchase $20 airtime credit (bundled) and $40 airtime credit (bundled), respectively. But, trying every prepaid phone from every prepaid wireless carrier (because my friend is a wireless retailer and he asks me to try out the phones for him) I don't recommend the Royale or Shorty. Instead, I recommend the Snapper ($89.99), Slider Sonic ($149.99), or Switch Back ($129.99). But, that's entirely up to your discretion what you chose. If appearance or quality don't matter just make and receive phone calls you should just opt for the "Plain Jane" Royale or Shorty. Shorty is better. Good luck!!

You can't get a free one unless you win a sweepstakes, which the odds aren't good. They're reasonable priced, so you can buy one at a Wal-Mart or local music store chain.
