Home tests are accurate enough if you follow the instructions. This means reading all of the instructions before you start the testing.

If you get a home pregnancy test then there is a very high rate of false negatives. I had a urine test done that said i was negative but i still feel like i am! They can be wrong. But blood test from your doctor or a clinic are the only ones that are 100% accurate. If you take an HPT and it comes out negative but you still feel that you may be then i would definitely go get a blood test done. Dont wait!! Test soon!!

It depends.....
You are MUCH more likely to get a "false-negative" then you are to get a "false-positive".....
If the test comes up positive, it is most likely right!
If the test comes up negative, there is a good chance that it is wrong!....You could be testing too early, which means that there would not be enough of the pregnancy hormone (hCg) in your system to be detected by a urine test.
If you get a positive, make an appointment with your OB/GYN. If you get a negative result, wait a few days and test again!
Good Luck! =)

Pretty much, as long as you follow the directions and take it at the right time. If you do it too early you may get a negative result because your body hasn't produced enough pregnancy hormone to be detected yet. That happened to me once. I just repeated the test 3 days later and it was positive. I think that's why they sell them in packs of 2 so much.

No not all the time that's why if you miss your period and don't start within a couple weeks and get negative home tests you should get a blood test. Even if you get a postitve test you should still get a blood test to confirm it. Hope this helped!

Often, but not all the time. If you still have doubts you can either wait a few days and try again, or go to your doctor. Make sure you're buying a good brand that is recommended by your doctor as well. Some are more accurate than others.

No. Positive results are almost always accurate, but negative tests are not. If you get a negative test, you may have tested too early, and you could get a positive a few days later. The later your period is, the more accurate the test is.

There is always room for error, but you are most likely to have a false negative than a false positive. When in doubt take a blood test at your local health department.

Nothing is 100 % right ...all the time..but most pregnancy tests including home test kits are 99-
99.5 % correct if you follow directions correctly.
