first go to start then run
disk cleanup
may take a while, it asks if you want it for c: drive say yes
Then to go internet options
general tab
delete cookies, delete files, clear history
That works for me. You have to do that every so often
Some computer queeks say that they bring in computers and they do that for them and charge $50.
Then in about a month bring it back and they do it again.
Takes only a few minutes and doesn't delete any of your programs but the average person is afraid to do it.

If your internet browser is slow, it's because your internet connection is slow...
If you computer and software is slow, it might be because you have too many things installed or a virus...
Solution: Go to Start -> All programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk cleanup...
Then
Go to Start -> All programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Defragment...
The whole process may take 1 - 1.5 hours...
If you encounter any problems, email me...

~~you may need to do disk maintainance... ie; empty your cookies, cache, and temporary internet files, then run scandisk, and defrag. i also have a spyware removal program and a regestry fix program that i use when i do my disk maintainance.... this helps a lot. you can download adaware free for the spyware removal, and if you would like the regestry fix program P M me on yahoo messenger and i can file transfer it to you. also i recommend getting the advanced browser, (which is also free), it is a faster browser than internet explorer, plus it has in the tools a way to clean the majority of the cookies, cache, and temporary internet files, (and you can set it to empty them every time you close your browser to help them from building up on you)

it's also possible that you have a virus and need to run your virus protection.... if you have norton, i suggest getting rid of norton.. (it don't work worth a nickle) and download AVG free edition and Avast, which is also free and run both of them. what one don't catch the other will.~~

you might have too many cookies used up, or a lot of movies or songs saved on your computer. a lot of icons or software? this will take up space and make the computer slower. you might want to delete some and do a virus scan.

There are many reasons that can cause this problem.
may be there is less memory left especially if you open too many windows or it may be infected with spyware.Try running a spyware remover or windows defender from microsoft. If it has no spyware it could be that it needs defragmenting.

you may have spyware working over time.

use spysweep or any other anti spyware program. best place to start is www.cnet.com and go to the downloads.com section and check out "spyware" and "antispyware programs".

any registry fixing programs will help you also...

and clean your cache and cookies often just in case... in the programs section of your computer (my computer , program files) and delete manually in your browser program folders - cache, cookies, temp and internet files.

or something similar.

i hope this helps you out.
