If America were truly governed directly by the people then yes we would have the authority to remove Bush, but we live a representative form of government. This means that our elected officials have to decide to kick him out. Since the majority party is republican and Bush supporters it stands to reason that they will not take the charge to impeach the man.
However, there is a glimmer of hope. The Nov. elections will surely end Republican control of Congress and this could turn the tide for removal of the president.
In response to the gentleman who claims that anyone who is not fully in support of Bush is clearly anti-American the 1st amendment and 200 years plus give me and anyone else the right to question authority. After all sir that is what the American Revolution was all about. Reread your history and you might learn something. The Republican party in general does not support issues important to the so called working man. As a party they tend to favor business, military spending and targeted tax cuts.
You really need to do some research before you call any one Anti-American for speaking his/her mind. You might begin by reading a document called the Constitution, something that this current administration doesn't seem to familiar with.

ha ha America is hardly governed by the people anymore. We aren't living in early America the way it used to be, now its led by political morons with $ to call the shots and buy their way to the top. If you try to go against the government now they label you a terrorist or traitor and big brother will either imprision you or keep a watchful eye on everything you do. Don't think its true? Research it. Knowledge is power.

Nothing dubious about it. He won by a close vote. I'm glad I voted for him. I hate to think what the do nothing Dem's would have done if they had been in there. Probably bitching about something as usual. If they had Clinton or Carter nothing would have been done. Remember, they tried to knock down the world trade center buildings with a van load of explosives, and I don't recall willy doing anything. Carter would try to talk to them, but we know that don't work with crazy people. Carter is the only one who still doesn't understand it. He was a worse Pres. than Cliton if that's possible.

I dislike him because of fact he has delivered his racist muslim believes into workplace. Does anybody end and think of that possibly it is Obama this is the racist. And he hasn't achieved a area so a the thank you to help this united states of america. He has positioned us in such debt that out little ones and grand little ones will go through heavily. all of us thinks it is in basic terms super that he's black and president. All that has led to is extra racism and hate in the direction of that white guy. i'm not on my own when I say that it is going to likely be a brilliant day while he's kicked out of the white homestead and positioned returned in his racist white hating church team the place he belongs. a minimum of there he can not do anymore injury.

Funny,I ask myself the same question over here in England about Tony Blair! People moan and rant, but what do they do about it,yes you guessed,NOTHING! I'm not a Blair voter, but if people are not prepared to put actions to their words then they should "put up and shut up!" I've yet to see anything on Yahoo boards, which is complementary to President Bush,in fact, just the opposite, so yes,how is he still in office??

I used to believe much as you do. You will probably think I sound silly at this point. Anyhow, please mark my word here and now:
Ready? Don't blink! America is NOT governed by the people! Time will tell whether I am a frothing lunatic or on the mark.

Liberals still live in the 60's and live to bad-mouth authority. It's always that way when a republican is president. Remember when Reagan was president?

Bush is very well liked by the real American people.
The Liberal News Media and the America Haters don't like him. But the working people do.

The system of checks and balances as designed by the constitional framers is impeded by one party control of all three branches of government.
the remedy to the problem is currently abetting the problem.
Besides, call me a kook, but when you use voting machines that do not leave a paper trail.
i can not trust those votes.
call me a kook.
