in proper cam postion reading caused by the cam sensor ecm module or it could be out of time , bad valve , cam lobe . Just have to start checking these things in order of easyist to check to hardist .

sounds like several things, crank sensor could be bad, ignition module may be going bad, timing chain is going bad, or exhaust is plugged. a simple fix its not but if the check engine light has been on before start there. these are good motors, and its plenum ;)

Bad intake valve, or timming is off, or it's running too lean, or valve is sticking, or valve timing is of, or bad valve seat, or valve lash out of adjustment, or.....
