in proper cam postion reading caused by the cam sensor ecm module or it could be out of time , bad valve , cam lobe . Just have to start checking these things in order of easyist to check to hardist .

sounds like several things, crank sensor could be bad, ignition module may be going bad, timing chain is going bad, or exhaust is plugged. a simple fix its not but if the check engine light has been on before start there. these are good motors, and its plenum ;)
