Yes, definitely. I have been with a guy who could do that (mutual arrangement). He was amazingly seductive and passionate, but there wasn't anything between us emotionally, except the desire for mad passionate sex.

Sex and love can be two different things. Hot sex isn't necessarily love, it's a physical act. If the emotions of love aren't there, then sex is sex is sex.
