I don't think that is contractions. Not to be gross, but all castor oil did to me was diarrhea. My Oby/Gyn said that is an old wives tale.

did you get the OK from your OB/GYN to use this? If not you need to talk to them because trying to induce labor on your own can harm/kill the baby.
