I've had some really long-lived friendships but even these have gone to the wayside sooner or later. Have you had the same experience? (I'm a man.)

Yes, I've gone through that. The friends that are for-life are the ones that cling to you the way you cling to them. They are the ones that are there for you no matter what & vice versa. The smallest things that might have broken your other friendships probably won't affect your for-life friends. That's how I sorted my friends out.

I have two "Best Friends" that I have had since High School. We go months or years even without seeing or chatting with each other, and when we do get a chance to be with each other again, it's like we were never away from each other. We always pick up exactly where we left off. That may be rare but they are my best friends and will always be.
