So I went on this double date last night and I am trying to tell if this girl was flirting with me. At first she was quiet then as the night went on she touched my arm about 3 times and was constantly laughing at my jokes. My friend also told me he saw her staring at me when I was looking at something else. She also kept telling me to try her drink...But when I asked my friend what she said to his girlfriend she said "i was a cool guy"? If she liked me wouldnt she have told his girlfriend and then he would have told me? I am confused?...i emailed her today to thank her for a fun night and she made mention to "the next time we see each other".......what do you think?

Basically, youre reading far more into this then there really is and setting yourself up for a possible letdown. What you had is nothing more then a good first date. Dont head for the aisle just yet. Email was nice touch and youre headed in the right direction. Ask her out on a second date and see what happens on that one. Then take it one day ata time. Pushing her too fast is definitely a sure bet on how to scare her off. You want to seem interested but not too agressive. If she is truly interested in you, then taking it nice and slow will impress her more than anything else you can do. Also flowers may be an old fashion romance thing, they still work. Shes also interested in seeing what happens on the second date so dont blow it. Good luck
