Wash them but don't dry and put them around the back of a chair or some thing to that affect that is bigger than them or you and let them stretch and dry they will go back into the original shape if you dry them but if you let them air dry then they will dry stretched good luck.

Unfortunately, with 7 cm. space left open, there probably isn't enough fabric to make the rise wider. You can take them to a tailor to see what they can do, but they probably can't do much. When shopping for jeans, it's important to find jeans that fit every pary of you. You shouldn't buy jeans that are the perfect length and look great if you can't button them.

I had this problem when I was pregnant w/ my first child. Here is a trick that you can try. Get several small elastic hair ties and put them through the hole of the pants and around the button. It does work. But then you will need to use a shirt that hides those elastic bands. Good luck!

If you can't close the buttons it's time to get a bigger pair of jeans or lose weight. I don't think you can 'modify' denim to make it that much larger. p.s. How can they look great on you if you can't even close them?

7 cm is a lot. Maybe you should take those to the mall and try to find a bigger pair similar to them.
