The idiocy and naivete of the American people amazes me. Are you really so stupid that you think that the president actually runs the country? Any president, whether it's Bush or Clinton or Joe Blow has already sold every ounce of personal integrity in order to get to the national level in politics. They have sold out to the various special interest groups who then finance their campaigns. Once they are in office, they have to do what these groups tell them to do. If they don't, well...ever wonder what really happened to Kennedy? Or Bobby Kennedy? So, Bush is the spokesperson for special interest groups, and Clinton was just the spokesman (although a rather poor one) for the special interest groups that bought him. So it will always be

No, but I did not like Kerry either that's why I voted for Badnarik. The reason I do not like Bush is because he raised discretionary spending by 40% not including defense or homeland security spending also his ignoring the first Amendment ("Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"). Clinton did a better job cutting government spending.

Could YOU do his job? I think he's done some bone-head things, but let's see your average person walking down the street stare down 80 cameras, 20 microphones, and come off talking like you know what you're saying. I say give the guy props where they're due. Like him or not, he's our president, a little support is in order...
Also, I think part of your question is 'do you like america or not'?
Don't forget that as a voter, you're part of government. If you don't vote, that's the same as 'abstain', which kind of means you couldn't be bothered to take a position on an issue.
Let's try a couple: What do you think about:
Iraq
Budget deficit
Illegal immigration
Energy
North Korea
Employment
(add more here)
What, for example, would you have said/done differently about Katrina? Give us 500 words on the future of the automobile industry in america. What's your stand on, say, Israel? Um, global warming/war on terror/government spending?
Could you do his job?

I prefer President Bush over the other choices. I'm just thankful term limits kept President Clinton form running again. So far, the choices for the next election are looking pretty scary.

Not.
I have a problem with an elected official who has sworn an oath to support and defend the constitution, yet refers to it as "just a g*d*mn piece of paper".
I have a problem with an elected official who has sworn an oath to see that the laws of this country are faithfully executed, then admits to willfully violating federal law because he thinks the laws shouldn't apply to him.
I have a problem with a Commander-in-Sheik who thinks that he can ignore Constitutional requirements at will. Or who sends lawyers into federal court to argue that the courts should not have any oversight into his illegal activities.
I don't care that he's borderline incompetent, or that he lies, or doesn't know how deal with foreign leaders. That doesn't distinguish him from half of the presidents and vice-presidents we've elected over the past century. In fact, as far as general job ability, he's about average.
But that doesn't excuse criminal conduct, and doesn't allow him to ignore the Constitution just because he thinks it shouldn't apply to him. He swore an oath, and he betrayed that oath. End of story.

I don't know him.
i am sure he's a great guy with some funny jokes.
I don't like his policy choices, the people he has placed in important postitions, and i feel he has overreached and abused his constitional powers.
in short.
Hes like Jimmy the Janitor at work. Jimmy's an Ok guy, funny, religous guy, family guy, BUT that does not mean i want him to be the leader of the FREE WORLD.
thanks

No I don't like him, as a normal person he would be too stupid too do any harm (except with a step-by-step guide), but as the President of the United States of America well...he could take that red button in his business suitcase for a new videogame.......
