Because all of those people move out of Canada and go to Hollywood.

We are not able to make decent movies about Canada because we take it to seriously, when transferred to the States the culture differences pop out very sharply and it is much easier to see the funny bits. This happens with most cross border stuff. One of the reasons Blame Canada (the Southpark song) was such a huge hit up here.

Because canada are a special breed...we have good singers, actors, directors, etc but the USA and hollywood scoop em up cause they dont have any talented people there.
