He does not need the money, He is a very wealthy man. He cannot step out of the limelight, He a hog. He never was a great wrestler.
In the 80's, the height of his fame, he admited taking steroids. He cheated and everyone welcomes him back with open arms?

Ric Flair is in much debt. Because if this, he must continue to wrestle.Hogan does wrestle, not out of need of money, but need of attention.

The man's ego is bigger than his biceps...he's still coasting on his past...I agree part of this is to hype Brooke's album (and considering how totally undistinguished it sounds to me, she may need all the help she can get), part to put asses in the seats (like it or not, Hogan still draws)...but part is for him to hear the applause...he's a junkie on that, I think. And we all know how Vince is willing to milk a legend for an extra bit of pop...guess after all, he and Hogan really are two peas in a pod...

I believe Hogans daughter is planning a singing carreer, and probably has a album ready for release.
With Hogan comming back to WWE, it will give great publicity for his daughter. I think this is why he is comming back.
