it is up to you

I am a high school teacher, and I teach 11th graders. My daughter is 17.
Basically, our rule at home is this...."Are you covered?"

Beyond that, I could pretty much care less. As long as my daughter doesn't have body parts showing that don't need to be showing and isn't wearing tight, skimpy, torn up stuff, I could care less. Ya gotta pick your battles. She could wear a clown suit, for all I care.

So I say "go for it". Although God knows why you'd want to. They're hot. Not hott......just plain hot.

I think anybody should be able to wear whatever they want to. I don't think that this is typical for high school students today though. It's about time that an 11th grader started to make their own decisions.

I don't know about ski pants (that seems like it'd just be uncomfortable), but overalls are certainly fine if that's what you want to wear.

I mean it is really up to you but dress your age your in high school look at what everyone else wears, but don't dress like a slut.

Only if they live on a farm and have to ski to school.

otherwise,
if economically that is all the clothes they have then they should wear it with pride. and suceed in school the best they can.

if they can afford clothes and its a choice something is up and its probably not healthy.

overalls & ski pants > that's it?

I recomend a shirt too .. but with the new laws saying topless is legal for both genders ... I guess it is ok not to.

You could get awfully warm and uncomfortable dressed that way.

Nothing "wrong", but rather strange. Find some other way to make a fashion statement.
