The current Bush Administration, controlled by Neocons, need more troops in order to succeed with their hawkish war mongering foreign agenda.

Bush has adopted the agenda of The Project for the New American century, a think tank made up of radical, militant Neocons hell bent on making America the global leader in the world. Their goal (as you can see....laid out here in 1997) is to push American values and morals on all foreign governments that they percieve as a threat to their goal of US world domination. They proposed starting with Iraq, then moving on to Iran, Syria, North Korea, and finally Saudi Arabia. http://www.newamericancentury.org/statementofprinciples.htm

Since things aren't exactly working out with the ease that they invisioned, I suspect that they are going to need more troops in order to make this a reality.

Will the people who blindly support the Bush administration's war mongering, please go to your local military recruiter and sign up today? Why not?

The existance of a group like this is not terribly surprising. Alarming, but not surprising. If you start typing in the names of various defense contractors like the Carlyle Group or Halleburton, you see a lot of those names at the bottom of that page coming up in your searches. This isn't that much different than a corporate statement on the part of all those people. Of course they benefit from the US starting wars abroad, it makes their companies money!

It also makes sense for the government to award contracts to these companies because the Clinton and both the Bush administrations now hold or will hold jobs in the same defense companies once their administration lost control of the White House.

It has been this way since World War II and before. We get into wars and make money off of them. IBM, for example, sold counting machines to keep track of Jews in concentration camps to the Nazis and then was also awarded defense contracts with the US when the war started.

The major problem with your theory is that the Bush administration has actually been fighting against the increase in military personnel the Congress has been pushing for. People are expensive to train and pay, and so the Administration wants no more of them than we have already. We need some recruiting to maintain current levels, but not a large increase.

Of course they yawn.. Lets all blindly follow and be cheerleaders for the government and act as if we're sooo patriotic but when the country needs you to "protect our freedoms" you yawn... They're not gonna sign up, but they'll support these wars, gotta have something entertaining on the news to watch...

agreed, a president isn't really a president anymore he is more or less a figure. Back in the old days there was a real thing called a president who actually had to call the shots, not have others telling them what to do, sad...very sad to see what this countries leaders have turned into.

thousands of Americans dead Iraq and Afghanistan, and hundred thousands of civilians died in this countries mostly children if bush and his admenstation and same of the American people don't care about poor people at least care about the American families who loses their mother, fathers, brothers, sons and daughters each day, same not all because I know most of them care about innocent lives that wasted in the war.
The world does not need more wars we need to learn to coexist together instead of killing each other.
