Why do eggs hate me?

They always break and I don't like things that break. WHY???? I WANT TO KNOW WHY!?!?

They just do it once in a while to be mean, but they are bullies like a lot of things. Once they see it bothers you, they keep doing it. I have the same problem with eggs. That's why my husband always cooks them. Did you know there was calcium in egg shells? Neither did I. A long time ago, I used to cook in a nursing home and I kept getting the egg shells in the eggs. That's when someone in the kitchen told me that.
But just practice. Get a hard, SHARP surface and hit the egg ONCE. It should work. When things break on you, and you don't like it, you get that much more nervous so they do it again and again, And eggs are such bullies too.

They're supposed to break. Otherwise, it'd be very hard to make scrambled eggs. You should try getting those fake eggs that come in like an orange juice carton. Those are already broken so you don't have to deal with the shell breaking.
