I'm 13 and my cousin is 15. He lives in another state and my family went to visit his family for 4 weeks. I told him I was in love with him and he said he was in love with me. He has a girlfriend and he told me he likes her better, but I like him better than my boyfriend. He's not in love with me anymore, but I'm still in love with him. We got home 2 weeks ago. My boyfriend called me the day after we got back and said he would call me back but never did, and now he won't respond to my emails. I think he's mad at me. My boyfriend is really special and I know if I throw his love away I'll regret it. I haven't gotten over my cousin, and I can't tell my boyfriend that because I don't want him to break up with me. I need more time. I think he would wait for me, but then again, why would he? If he finds out that I'm in love with my cousin, he'll break up with me for sure.

Oh girl, so wonderful the words you chose to describe this love you have with your cousin.
I too fell in love with my second cousin and I still think about him to this day. But I somehow grew out of it and I never told anyone about it. And life was completely fine. I would see him at family events and that was special time. I also had a boyfriend too and I never told him.
I say you should keep your feelings about your cousin very private and only share them with him. Take the time you have together and keep it special and sacred.
Don't share your feelings with your boyfriend. It's none of his business. You need to keep that a secret. Write it in your diary but do not tell anyone.
Accept your relationships as separate and distinct. Do not mix them.

OH NO !! You need to back off of this thought. You may love your cousin as a relative, but do not think of anything in regards to this. If you would to get sexually involved with your cousin it would be considered incest. This is not a good thing. You can Love your cousin and that is ALL. So don't even go there. Stop it right now. You are young and you don't realize what this can do to your future. If you had children with him, it could cause lots of different problems. So forget about going down that road.

EEEEEEEEEEWWWWW!!!!! Okay, first of all, I think that having feelings for your cousin is absolutely disgusting--they are members of your family, after all, and it's called incest.Don't you know better than that?Second of all, if u and your cousin do decide to get involved, u'll just cause more problems among everybody---aside from the family uproar and drama, there's the almost gaurantee that if you guys have kids, they will suffer from severe deformities! So, please, even if u can't salvage your relationship with your current boyfriend, force yourself to look elsewhere! Oh, and by the way, do u all live in the south, by any chance??!!

You may not agree with my answer.. but 10 years from now you will... You are 13 years old... you have no idea what real love is.. What you are feeling is puppy love or infatuation.... dating family members is a no no. They are your blood.. Does your parents know you even have a boyfriend? I think you need to get busy doing something else and stop thinking of boys.. it will only get you in trouble!!!

I'm assuming it's your 2nd cousin you have a crush on because you can't be with your 1st cousin...that's sick. The feeling you have for you cousin will eventually fade and your life will go on. Your chances of being with him are pretty much non existant. If you feel for your boyfriend then stay with him and if you don't, let him go so he can find somebody who cares only for him. How would you feel if your boyfriend had a crush on his cousin???

first of all you are to young to be in love with anyone. And as being in love with you cousin is very wrong. Did you know if you have a baby by a relative it will most likely have something wrong with it. Get educated.

It really is gross.
It sounds to me like you don't love your boyfriend, otherwise, you wouldn't have even asked this question.
You should probably break up with him soon, and take some time to re-evaluate your own feelings.

I think it is sweet the feelings you have for your cousins and all. But unless you live somewhere where noone cares i suggest stick with oyu boyfriend! Anyway it is you choice and you have a ton of ways to pick wihch one!

have you ever herd of incest? that's nor only sick but wrong in more than one level he's family! and what even more gross is that he's 15! old enough to know that this is wrong i don't think that you should leave your bf for your cousin. . . .what i don't understand is why your bf is mad did you tell him anything that would lead him to believe you have someone else?

Unless you live in a country where they allow you to marry your cousin then I suggest you drop the whole loving your cousin and try making up with your boyfriend
Being in love with your cousin doesn't strike me as awkward since in Colombia your allowed to marry your own cousin.Since you live in the U.S. I think you should try forgetting about your cousin.
