I find the oldies to be much better; though there are many modern artists that I love. What annoys me the most is popular music. It seems that every new artist that comes out is a copy of someone already out there and no one is doing anything original, different or unique anymore.

Oldies. I prefer classic rock over modern. I prefer classic R&B over modern.

I love oldies. I agree that they are much better. I like some of the modern artist as well but there's nothing like those oldies. It seems like most of the stuff that comes out these days has been done over and over before.

The oldies are definitely better. Back then, songs had more depth and meaning, music had a more pleasant feel to the ear and people were really SINGING. Know what i mean? Today's song people are all just creating noise. And all the punks like that. Sigh, whats the world coming to.

Personally it all depends on my mood. I love oldies cause they're great and have a sort of straight to the point feeling to them. But sometimes i just feel like screaming mu lungs out with a modern rock band. but then again i just love music, all types.

i do no longer likely have a definitive answer. multiple my widespread music is cutting-part, yet very the large majority of my least widespread music is likewise cutting-part. there have been a lot of artists the previous 10 years that i purely can not stand, that's some thing i'm no longer able to declare concerning to the 60s, 70s, or 80s, yet for all and sundry which I hate, there's a handful that i admire. that's a surprisingly mixed bag for me. It somewhat purely relies upon on the artist.

I agree.
I do like some of the catchier new pop songs, but they all become redundant with the upcoming batch of pop stars coming out.
I tend to listen to the older stuff such as U2, Aerosmith, Elton John, The Beatles, Led Zepplin etc. when I am sick of what's playing on the air.
