He obviously doesn't see how sincere and honest you are about your feelings towards him .. and would rather be the one pursuing someone who might not appreciate him as much as you
I say move along on and find someone who actually WILL care about you and WILL notice you

Is this person really close to you, if so than you may need to rethink how you would approach your feelings. Does the person really have feelings for the other person. Need to think real hard because your freindship could be at stake. I would not step on any ones toes to get what I want. THINK CLEAR! before making any decision. Only you know what's best for you. And whose in your heart.

That appears to often be the case. Quite possibly their crush in turn likes some other guy. What a tangled web. Anyway, don't give up!

Just leave him alone and let him decide. Crush is momentary and love is eternal. You are unlikely to continue with your fascination when u come to know the real person.

Be yourself, get to know him and be a really good friend. Maybe eventually he'll notice you for who you are and like you...even if he dates a couple different girls first. If it's meant to be it will happen, if not oh well. Just be a friend to him, and be yourself...that's all you can really do right now. Take care!

The best thing to do is get over him unless the person he likes is ALOT like you, then you should do something to convince him you're better than her.
