The sad thing is that only 26% believed this to be true in 2002. Somewhere along the way, 24% of Americans decided that there really were WMD's in Iraq during the invasion, even though the Pentagon, the Iraq Survey Group, and George Bush himself have consistently (since 2002) maintained that they weren't there.

Power of repetition, I suppose. Sad, really.

Well, they did the U.S. sold them WMD's in the 1980's (because of our problems with Iran) which Saddam used on the Kurds. The question should be did they still have stockpiles of WMD's in 2003.

Are you dumb? Do you ever watch the news? Iraq did have WMD's. WMD's are not just nuclear weapons, but also chemical and biological weapons. They found hundereds of tons of chemical and biological weapons in Iraq.
