i agree fully with leyland as the choice in the american league..........and to me willie randolph should get the nod in the national league. the cardinals have underperformed under larussa so he should not be considred and the winner of the west and the wildcard winner will be too close to a .500 team to really merit consideration.

AL-Jim Leland, has really brought everything together for the Tigers
NL-Joe Girardi, everyone said the Marlins would be worst team in baseball and now they're 6 games out for the Wild Card

Jim leyland hands down. The Tigers were a joke last year and now they are one of the best. Great job!

Jim Leyland wins AL manager of the year---NO DOUBT!

All you have to do is look what he does a done with a team that hasnt finished above .500 in 12 years!

If he doesnt win AL manager of the year that ought to be a full scale investation!

Jim Leyland will win it but Joe Torre deserves it more. Look what Joe has done while half his team has been on the DL all season. His best job yet!

The AL vote should be unanimous for Jim Leyland.

NL is too close to call right now. It'll probably go to whoever wins the NL West.

Jim Leyland's a shoo-in, if the Tigers don't just collapse the next two months....but there's no reason why they would.

American League: Gotta be Jim Leyland.
National League: Most likely Willie Randolph
