UN created the state of israel by dividing arab palestine into two halves - jews got 55% and arabs left with 45% - this has caused tension ever since. Hezbollah formed to fight occupying forces and create an islamic state, using many terrorist tactics but also fund health care, schools etc. 40% of lebanese consider it a valid resistance group who won eight seats in government. Not all lebanese agree tho. Funded by many including Iran, this may give US excuse it needs to attack Iran before it goes fully nuclear. Altho the UN Atomic Energy Agency which regularly inspects iran's nuclear industry says the country is not developing weapons but is enriching uranium for generating electricity. Iran is considering supporting hezbollah and this may lead us all into a major middle east war - possibly WW3.

We should all follow this very closely and carefully, and try to sift the propaganda from the facts.

Oh, and Hebrew Hammer below tells us the story being dredged up to unite us about the 16 year old hanged in Iran. Interestingly the United States of America has passed the death sentence on juveniles. 14 death penalty jurisdictions considered 16 the minimum age until the supreme court banned it in 2005.

Im not a jew. However, if i remember correctly Hezbollah kidnapped isreali solders and committed a act of war. As Hezbo is the majority of the governmet I guess what isreal is doing is justified. Syria and Iran are lucky last time a major war occured with Isreal I believed they kicked the crud out of all of the Islamic nations. I mean how many suiside bombers does it take to make anyone realized Lebanon doesnt want peace.

How can a suitable and logical answer be given to a disjointed, illogical question?
The fact of the matter is that you are buying propaganda and are ignoring the facts. I know that because you are going on and on about Isreal's faults and say nothing about what Hezbollah and the Lebanese Government are doing.
There are two sides to every story and in this case neither side needs to be proud of their actions.

I couldn't agree more. Of course, whoever were behind the 9/11 attacks and the London Bombings are terrorists adn essetially just ignorant cold blodded murderers. As a Muslim, I believe that these people who carry out the merciless attacks on innocent people to prove a point are not real Muslims and don't have a proper understanding of their faith.

I also agree that governments who claim to be acting for the greater good of a nation, but goin about it the way Bush is, is total hypocricy and out and out terrorism!

Who can claim to be helping a nation out by slaughtering innocent civilians, wiping out the whole nations infrastructure and totally devoiding the country of any means of sustenance?

Its a real sad state of affairs and we can only pray that everyone realises who he other terrorists are...and how to logically and peacefully make others realise what they are doing to innocent countries and people.

Those who support, arm, feed, cloth, house, and hide those who continually attack Israel are not innocent. A building or house that has ties to Hezbollah are military targets. There should be many more Hezbollah supporters killed. Hezbollah is an enemy of the USA. Americans should give Israel all the help they need. If the Lebanese want to be safe then join the fight to oust Hezbollah with Israel and the USA.

Biastai said Israel built bomb shelter; that shelter cannot withstand a 500 lb bunker buster If USA placed it in the hands of the Hezbollahs. More Israeli lives would have been lost with the weapons of mass destruction provided for Israel to terrorize the people of lebanon with.

Okay I'm no Einstein, however I do know that Hezbollah are not innocent civilians....they are using their own people as "human shields"... this is okay by you? The real terrorists are the ones using schools, hospitals, Mosque, old folks homes, and other public places as munition storage....otherwise known as HEZBOLLAH...please come to grips with this and realize that they are the ones getting innocent civilians killed.....

I am angry with Muslims over 9/11 and 7/7 and the hateful bile they spew about the West. I find it hard to be sympathetic towards them. My sympathies lie with Israel.
