Lifes demands, and so many at once, with all the time involved, and the expectations brings about alot of pressure.I think it is the demands and all that we expect of ourself, maybe perfection is what causes the pressure.

Pressure or stress is either imposed on you or by yourself.

In the first case, stress by an emergency like a hurricane or bombing is usually immediate and survival based.

I think you are talking about the second. If the boss at work is unhappy and threatens to fire you, that is stress. HOWEVER, the way you handle it is the pressure that it puts on you. It runs the range of:
- Who cares, I could get aother job somewhere
- Ohmygod, I had better shape up so I don't get fired...I am stressed
- I am going to kill myself...extreme stress.

Same situation, different reactions. Pressure is what you make of it.

NOW, this is not to say that we should all act as "who cares". In most cases, the middle road is the best road...I know that something is wrong and I had better do something about it. In fact, ,for me, the pressure is the motivator to do it.

pressure is stress, stress is the over amount of work you are put to the task.

peer pressure, is stress received from peers. such stress is the stress of being forced to do somethign. or being pressured to do something.

pressure is always around you, because if it weren't you would be hollow, and just be living, breathing and eating. you wouldn't be working, or striving for something. you would be a blob.

pressure, or stress, is an internal thing, which is really located in your brain, and nerves. physical pressure is the abuse that one receives if they don't do something, someone wants them to do. your nerves feel this form of pressure. internal (or mental) pressure, or stress, is the stress that your brain feels. for such examples, you can use, the overload of work put on you, in a short period of time. your brain is saying, it can't do this, and you feel the pressure from your brain. peer pressure is also mental pressure.

pressure is really a form of letting your body cope with what it is going through. it is basically an excuse, to a tough problem, that your body, and brain seek for help.

as a person, i feel pressure is just another way for yourself to feel exhausted, and is a way, the body lets one know that they are being challenged. it is a way for your brain to give you a reality check, and see if you're up to date with the reality of work. pressure is a series of emotions that is very important with one's being. for not we have pressure, one may never exceed, feeling that there's no consequences, but when thy does have pressure, they are being pressured to succeeding, therefore, succeeding in what they do, and what is the outcome of what they do.

I don't have any pressure yet, but if I get my peer mentoring job, there will be plenty of pressure once school starts. I have to keep a 3.2 GPA to keep the job while making sure the job doesn't interfere with my grades.

Every human has the desire to be accepted and wanted.
I think preasure is the fact that we are afraid to be different, we want to fit in and be seen as "normal". So whatever everybody else is doing we have this strougle with whether we count what we know as right more important that what other people think of you.

Honestly, I think people would admire you more for being different... If anyone had the courage to.
